Additional Protections

Which protection should you choose against drops or rubbing?

Frame or engine sliders are designed to limit damage in a fall, while engine case, fork, or muffler guards target specific components. For repeated rubbing, Acerbis frame guards cover the area that comes into contact with your boots; the Bagster tank cover protects the tank and also lets you attach a Bagster tank bag. R&G tank grips are mainly intended to help keep your legs in place.

How can you protect the motorcycle when parked?

The Tucano Urbano seat cover protects the seat from rain, while the R&G outdoor cover covers the motorcycle. Before putting on this cover, let the exhaust cool if it could touch it, and tighten the straps to prevent it from flapping against the bodywork. For a period of non-use, the winter pack includes, among other items, a fuel stabilizer and a battery charger.

Which compatibility details should you check?

Puig Pro 2.0 and R19 engine guards are not compatible with tubular guards. Acerbis X-Power engine case guards, on the other hand, are listed as compatible with the Acerbis skid plate. These details apply to these references, not to all guards in the category.
